As I prepared this concert, I listened to the lyrics denouncing the horrors of war, bigotry, corporate powermongering, and religious fundamentalism that we feared Reagan would unleash upon America and the world. Reagan only set the stage for these evils, nobody could have imagined how far George Bush would take them. Reagan set us on the path to where we are today, and he will burn in hell for it.
