1995: Tiny Portrait

I found this tiny portrait in the corner of a piece of paper, next to other portrait studies. I probably drew this sometime around 1995. This drawing is only about as big as a thumbprint, it is greatly enlarged here. I must have used a fine point Japanese calligraphy pen. It's very hard to control a brush tip at this size. I like the sketchy, crude quality of the lines, and there is even some variety of blacks.
